Donald Gould has been a member of the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce since 1990, and formerly served as President and a member of the Board of Directors. He continues his participation by providing legal services to the Chamber.
Don was elected and has served as a member of the Will County Board since 2002. He currently serves as Chairman of the Public Works and Transportation Committee. He formerly chaired the Public Health and Safety and Reapportionment Committees. In 2014, he served as President of the Forest Preserve District of Will County.
Don currently serves as a Member of the Will County Board of Health and is a founding director of the The Nature Foundation of Will County, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to preserving open space in Will County.
Don is a member of the Will County and Illinois State Bar Associations. In 1998 he was awarded the Will County Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award, for his volunteer service to the underserved population of Will County. His services and award were noted in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin.
